How to Get Access

Access to our exam preparation materials is provided upon purchase of our study packs. Each paper has a unique password.

If you have purchased a study pack and have not received your password, please check your email inbox (and spam folder) for an email from us with the subject line "Your Admission Exams SA Access Details".

If you still can't find your password or are experiencing issues, please contact our support team at support@admissionexams.co.za with your proof of purchase, and we will assist you promptly.

Please note: Access will only be provided for new courses commencing from 1 September 2025.

Website Terms and Conditions of Use and Service

Introduction

LegisLearn (Pty) Ltd (“LegisLearn”) provides online learning courses. These terms and conditions, including the privacy policy, apply to any user (“the User”) who visits or registers on the LegisLearn website (www.legislearn.co.za) or uses any of our services.

Important Notice for Users

Please read this entire document carefully. By using our website or services, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. Your continued use signifies your acceptance of the current terms, which may be updated from time to time. Your acceptance is deemed to have taken place at our head office: 37 Culemborg, Green Way, Pinelands, Cape Town, 7405.

User Obligations and Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations in South Africa and your country of residence.
  • You are responsible for your own tax and regulatory affairs.
  • If you object to any changes in these terms, you must notify us in writing to terminate your access.

1. Definitions

Key terms used in this document include:

  • LegisLearn Account: Your registered account on our website.
  • Intellectual Property: All content, materials, patents, trademarks, and copyrights associated with LegisLearn.
  • Material: Any electronic, video, written, or online course material from LegisLearn.
  • Service: All services provided by LegisLearn to the User.
  • User: You, the user of our website and services.

2. The Service

LegisLearn provides an online learning platform for personal, non-commercial use. You may not register on behalf of anyone else. Access to content is provided within 3 business days of payment.

  • Accurate Information: You must provide true and accurate contact details. False information is a material breach of this agreement.
  • Payments: Invoiced amounts must be paid within 24 hours. We use third-party payment gateways; your use of them is at your own risk.
  • No Refunds: Bookings are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable, regardless of attendance. Course fees are for the entire course, not per session.
  • Cancellations: LegisLearn reserves the right to cancel or postpone a class with reasonable notice.

3. Online Learning Experience

  • You are responsible for your own learning and timely submission of any assignments.
  • We do not warrant that our services will be lawful in your country of residence.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service due to issues like loadshedding or poor connectivity.
  • No Guarantee of Success: We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination. You agree not to hold LegisLearn liable if you fail an assessment.

4. User Account Requirements

By using the Service, you warrant that you will:

  • Have sufficient internet connectivity.
  • Provide true and accurate information.
  • Not attempt to access another user's account.
  • Not share any LegisLearn resources under any circumstances.
  • Not post any abusive, threatening, or defamatory content.
  • Not breach any of LegisLearn’s Intellectual Property Rights.
  • Act in a respectful manner towards our staff.

A breach of these warranties may result in the immediate revocation of your access.

5. Intellectual Property Protection

All Material is the exclusive property of LegisLearn and is protected by copyright law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Material for your personal study.

You are strictly prohibited from:

  • Reproducing, copying, distributing, selling, or sharing any Material.
  • Using any Material for commercial gain.
  • Sharing Material via email, cloud storage, or any social media platform.

Violation will result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action.

6. Privacy and Personal Information (POPIA)

We respect your privacy and comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect personal information (e.g., name, contact details, ID number) to provide our services. We may also collect technical information like your IP address and use cookies to improve your experience.

We will not use your personal information for marketing without your consent and will only disclose it to third parties necessary for our business operations (e.g., service providers) or when required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee security against unauthorized disclosures by third parties outside our control.

7. Disclaimer, Indemnity, and Warranties

The website and all materials are provided "as is". We make no warranties as to their accuracy or suitability. You use the Service at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold LegisLearn harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the website or your breach of these terms.

8. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably through negotiation or mediation. Failing that, the parties consent to the jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa (Western Cape Division). Parties agree not to publicize disputes on any public platform.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service for any breach of these terms or for any other valid reason. Your obligations and liabilities incurred prior to termination will survive termination.

10. General

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LegisLearn. No indulgence or extension of time granted by us shall be a waiver of our rights. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

PAIA Manual

1. Introduction

This manual is prepared in accordance with section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 ("PAIA") and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA"). Its purpose is to facilitate requests for access to records held by LegisLearn (Pty) Ltd ("Legislearn").

4. Information Available in Terms of POPIA

We process personal information to provide our services. This may include:

  • User Information: Name, contact details, identity number, and payment details.
  • Device Information: IP address, browser type, and location information for security and analytics.

We share this information only with trusted third-party service providers who assist in our operations, or when legally required to do so.

5. Records Held by Legislearn

We hold records in the following categories:

  • Statutory and Legal: Company registration documents, minutes of meetings, and legal agreements.
  • Human Resources: Employee records, HR policies, and training manuals.
  • Finance and Accounting: Financial statements, tax records, and supplier information.
  • Sales and Marketing: Customer records, terms and conditions, and marketing materials.
  • Operations: Day-to-day information required to run the organization.

6. Request Procedure

To request access to a record, please complete the prescribed form (Form 2) and submit it to our Information Officer. You will need to provide proof of identity and specify the right you seek to exercise or protect. Fees may be applicable as per the Act.
